Characteristics

Quartz agglomerate is a material produced in the form of sheets by a special process called "vacuum vibrocompaction". The sheets are obtained by mixing silica sand or pure quartz (95%) with structural polyester resin (5%) and UV-stabilized colour pigments. The resulting material is ideal for use in the production of furniture, since it maintains the physical and mechanical characteristics of the original materials.

Certifications

The product has obtained certification by “Greenguard Children & Schools” (certificate no. 90053 issued by the Greenguard Environment Institute). This means that it is suitable for use inside the home, thanks to the extremely low level of emission of volatile substances into the atmosphere – even lower than the extremely restrictive limits required for certification by “Greenguard Children & Schools”. The product has also obtained NSF/ANSI Std. 51 certification, which attests to its suitability for use in contact with foodstuffs. This certificate was issued by NSF, an independent international organization set up to safeguard public health.

Warranty

The exceptional qualities of our worktops guarantee the product's long service life and enhanced durability, as well as its resistance to the most common forms of damage and wear, such as impact, scratches and abrasions. Caranto is guaranteed for 5 years.
